Honoured for exceptional design leadership and project excellence last year, Henry J Lyons was named winner in dual categories at the Building & Architect of the Year Awards 2025, securing both Architectural Practice of the Year and Building of the Year - Office (Medium) for Two Grand Parade.

The firm was named Architectural Practice of the Year, with judges acknowledging its outstanding body of work and lasting impact on the architectural profession. The panel identified Henry J Lyons' designs as among the best in the field, demonstrating excellence, innovation, and a commitment to shaping the built environment.

Henry J Lyons also won Building of the Year - Office (Medium) for Two Grand Parade, a project that captivated judges with its masterful approach to preserving and transforming a 1960s office building that might have otherwise been lost.

"This entrant captivated our judges with its masterful approach to preserving and transforming a 1960s office building that might have otherwise been lost. Our judges praised Henry J Lyons' ability to balance heritage and innovation, delivering a design that safeguards the past while embracing the future of contemporary office use. With an impressive layout and striking imagery, this entrant stood out as a remarkable example of sensitive and sustainable architecture," the judging panel said.
