Bank of Ireland has committed €10.9 million in development finance to support the delivery of 127 residential units at Chapel Park, Kinnegad, Co. Westmeath, with Corcom acting as development manager for Moylough Developments and completion scheduled for October 2028, as reported by ThinkBusiness.

ThinkBusiness reported that all private units in the scheme are priced at Help to Buy eligible levels, with each home designed to achieve a minimum BER A rating, reducing both energy costs and environmental impact for occupants.

The Kinnegad development forms part of Bank of Ireland's stated ambition to support the delivery of 30,000 new homes nationwide by 2028, with sustainable, energy-efficient residential construction a central criterion for its development finance activity.

Brian Gaffney, head of Residential and Development Finance at Bank of Ireland Corporate and Commercial Banking, said: "We are delighted to support Corcom on this transaction and look forward to building a strong working relationship with them. Supporting housebuilders in delivering high-quality, sustainable homes remains a core priority for Bank of Ireland. Developments of this nature are vital in meeting ongoing housing demand while creating long-term social and environmental value."

Corcom, founded in 2010 by CEO John Hoare and headquartered in Kildare, operates primarily as a residential property development advisory and management firm. The company has assisted in the delivery of more than 1,500 homes to date and has secured planning permission on all 75 of its applications.

John Hoare, CEO of Corcom Development Partners, said: "We are pleased to finalise this transaction with Bank of Ireland, securing the funding for our Chapel Park development in Kinnegad. This financing strengthens our ability to deliver high-quality homes and to expand our development pipeline responsibly and sustainably."

The Chapel Park scheme adds to a pipeline of Bank of Ireland-backed residential developments across Ireland, including a 200-home project in Mallow, Co. Cork and 110 affordable homes at Church Fields, Co. Dublin.
